Using Food Baskket
You may browse the marketplace as a guest. An account may be required for checkout, saved addresses, order history, vendor tools, rider tools and other personalised services. You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account credentials secure.
Products, prices and availability
Products are offered by Food Baskket and/or approved marketplace vendors. Prices, stock, promotions and delivery availability can change. The final amount shown at checkout is the amount applicable to that order, subject to successful payment and stock confirmation.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order may be cancelled or adjusted where an item is unavailable, payment cannot be confirmed, delivery is not possible, information is inaccurate, or fraud/security checks require it. Where money has been collected for an order that cannot be fulfilled, the applicable refund process will be followed.
Payments
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include payment gateways enabled by the platform administrator, such as Paystack or Flutterwave. Food Baskket does not ask customers to send card PINs, passwords or one-time passwords to vendors or riders. Payment confirmation is subject to verification by the relevant payment provider and the Food Baskket system.
Delivery
Delivery fees and available delivery options may depend on address, vendor, order value and service area. Estimated delivery times are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather, vendor preparation time, rider availability and other operational conditions.
Returns, refunds and disputes
Returns and refunds are handled under the Returns & Refunds Policy and may depend on the product type, condition, reason for return, supporting evidence and applicable consumer law. Perishable or food items may have additional safety restrictions.
Marketplace vendors
Approved vendors are responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, safety, pricing and availability of products they list. Food Baskket may review, suspend or remove listings or vendor access where platform rules are breached.
Riders and delivery partners
Riders must handle orders responsibly, protect customer information and follow delivery status and proof-of-delivery requirements. Riders must not collect unauthorised charges from customers.
Prohibited use
You must not use Food Baskket for fraud, unlawful products, abusive activity, attempts to bypass platform payments or security, unauthorised access, or any activity that violates applicable law.
